This way works great for our monkeys that love their cubes but don't get their UBV light benefit while in the cube. It's like an open cube when you hang it upside. Chinchillas love it both ways. Small animals require a safe place to sleep or nap, preferably one that is quite, dark, and warm. Proper nesting material can help reduce stress levels and increase the quality of sleep your pet is getting, all while optimizing their health. Provide 1-2 nest pouches or sleeping dens inside the cage at all times.
