Sugar Glider Dangers
- Open water such as water in the kitchen sink or toilets
- Ceiling fans that are left on
- Open Doors or windows
- Uncovered windows (gliders glide and may hit a glass window)
- Exposed electrical wires including extention cords
- Fish Aquariums full of water (sugar gliders can't swim)
- Other house hold pets
In fact it is best to have a Glider room that you know is Suggie safe for you and your Gliders to play in and bond.
Sugar Gliders and House Plants
Gliders love to play in house plants. This can be hard on the plants, as well as dangerous to the glider. Make sure that the plants your glider will come in contact with are not toxic. Also, do not allow your glider to be near any plants that have been sprayed with pesticides. Below are some of the poisonous plants:
